After receipt of your job request, a design team is formed to develop a solution to your design problem. Usually, after one week, the teams present their preliminary design solutions to the instructor and other members of the Design Studio 542.

After an analysis and recommendations, the design team continues to develop a finished, refined design solution. The completion time for the second stage is usually another week.

The client has the option of viewing and commenting on the preliminary stage before work is completed in the second, finished stage by merely indicating to Design Studio 542 his preference.

Distance clients may view their design solutions on a web page exclusively designated to them to preserve client confidentiality. Faxes and e-mail attachments are other viewing options. Design Studio 542 maintains confidentiality on behalf of its clients. Design Studio 542 members sign client confidentiality agreements when requested by the client.

Clients are encouraged to maintain contact with Design Studio 542 to check on progress and to communicate additional information.
